About Hannah Thompson
As an interior design student at the University of Stevens Point Wisconsin, personally passionate about bringing joy to my clients by creating a space that makes their daily lives easier. Growing up in a household that moved very frequently, I quickly realized my interest in design and how a space can change your emotion. Having the ability to make others feel connected to their space drove me to the design industry.
The goal of an interior designer is to create functional and story telling designs. Passionate about creating spaces that bring joy to clients and help them complete their day to day tasks. Inspired by learning and growing within the industry; looking forward to new opportunies to expand my knowledge and create spaces that will be remembered.
My Latest Projects
Brendell Products
Brendel Products was a hypothetical office space project. Comprised of all Alsteel furniture. The company had colors that they were hoping to incorporate; but their overall want was for a space that made people to come back to the office. The idea was to create a clean space that allowed people to escape the stress of their personal life. Also while looking at the companies colors I noticed similar tones to the night life of the city. Creating a space that felt both clean and energetic was the design concept for this space.
Hotel Whiting
Hotel Whiting was a hypothetical project in downtown Stevens Point. The goal was to create an assisted living facility for patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The structure was built in the 1920’s and the owners were hoping to keep some of the original features to maintain the title of a historical building. The overall concept was to use the 1920s art deco style throughout the space while also creating focal areas that would help the memory of the residents. It was important to incorporate wayfinding techniques and provide a space that reminded them of home.
